Football games will resume in Germany on Saturday, May 16 after several weeks of suspension occasioned by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the world.
Not only Germany’s top division, Bundesliga was affected but it will be among the first to resume after about two months of suspension due to the pandemic.
However, understands the game will be played behind closed doors as authorities are still cautious and taking steps to prevent further spread of the virus.
The matches will be played at the club’s stadium as normal but will be played behind closed doors so as to observe social distancing rules.
As part of efforts to prevent the virus from spreading, players will be tested twice a week. More so, three team buses will be used to ensure social distancing while players will enter the field separately and there will be no handshakes.
