Chairman of Gwale Local Government Council, Khalid Ishaq Diso has been suspended for three months by the Kano State House of Assembly for allegedly selling government properties. The allegation against Diso was made by his councillors. House standing committee on local governments and chieftaincy affairs presented the report during a plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Ismail Jibril Falgore. Alhaji Hamza Zubairu Massu explained that the committee had carefully scrutinized the allegations contained in the petition by six of the 10 Gwale councillors.
