Popular Nigerian lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has faulted reports that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has embarked on a working visit to Europe. Bayo Onanuga who is a media aide to Tinubu posted the statement announcing Tinubu’s travel on his Twitter handle. Reacting, Inibehe said claims that Tinubu was heading on a working visit is false as he lacks the constitutional powers to embark on such trips. Inibehe described the claim as a lie that is unnecessary and irritating”. Read his tweets below
