A clergyman and representative of the President General in the Forum of Presidents-General of Urhobo Kingdoms, Pastor Adese Onos, his wife and housemaid, died in a gas explosion that occurred in Orogun community in Ughelli North Local Government Area, last Thursday, May 4. The deceased persons were said to be in their home when the gas explosion occurred. The victims were rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Benin City, Edo State, for treatment. The deceased pastor was the first to die from injuries he sustained in the explosion. The housemaid later died on Saturday, May 6 while the clerics wife died on Sunday, May 7, as a result of injuries sustained in the gas explosion.
