Prince Agbor Onyi, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party in Cross Rivers state, has been kidnapped. The party said he was kidnapped on Thursday evening February 16, in Akparavuni community of Biase Local Government Area, Cross River state. Family sources have also disclosed that the kidnappers have demanded a huge ransom. A statement released by Secretary of Cross River state chapter of YPP, Comrade Fredrick Omari, read; We have received with rude shock the depressing news of the kidnap of our Deputy Governorship candidate, Prince Agbor Onyi.The timing of this criminal act is very devastating to the party and is a very serious concern to us all.
