Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has commended the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), for signing the 2022 Electoral Act.Adeleke made the comments after voting at his Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, Ede on Saturday, February 25.According to a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the governor arrived at the polling unit around 8:42 and cast his votes at about 8:44 after accreditation and verification with the BVAS machine. The statement quoting Adeleke further read in parts, I have voted and as you can see, it went well. The Electoral Act is legislation we should celebrate for refining our elections. Our votes now count. Again, I commend President Muhammadu Buhari for the courage and patriotism he demonstrated by signing the bill into law. It is a landmark law.
