Today we’re looking at Sky’s The Last of Us: one of the most anticipated video game adaptations in history. It’s a heartbreaking journey through the beautifully cinematic backdrop of post-apocalyptic America, where the humans that remain struggle to hold onto their humanity.
The Last of Us stars Pedro Pascal as Joel, a cynical smuggler tasked with transporting Ellie – played by Bella Ramsey – from one side of the US to the other. But with a deadly, contagious infection that turns people into disfigured monsters, the journey has more than a few obstacles.
Naturally, the fans will have some strong opinions about the new TV show. We gathered together a collection of Last of Us super fans and took them to a screening of episode 1 so we could grill them for data on their first impression.
