President Buhari has said that there were deliberate attempts made by some persons to destroy Nigeria but God foiled their all of their plans. A statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says the President stated this during his visit to the Palace of the Emir of Damaturu, Hashimi II El-Kanemi, on Monday, January 9. The President also said the country has “bounced back” from its troubled days and expressed his gratitude to men of the Armed Forces and the Police for their sacrifices in protecting the country. “There was a deliberate attempt to destroy Nigeria but God did not permit it.
